"Before the Bye-Bye man"

Films: Nightmare Man (2006)

Alias: Ellen

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area/Forest

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Demonic spirits are the worst. They have no hobby in life aside from torturing mortals, and it always seems to be the women that they go after first. It's all quite disgraceful, all things considered. This film certainly doesn't help in that regard.

History: The Nightmare Man is a demonic entity that seeks out any woman who wears its mask. From there, it possesses her, makes her kill, and then rapes her before moving on to the next victim. Today, that victim is Ellen, who is denounced by her husband and everyone else as crazy, and she retreats into a...couple's retreat to get away from it all. But not only did she bring with her the Nightmare Man, but a hitman sent by her husband to kill her and everyone else.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Eventually, Ellen kills the hitman under the spell of the Nightmare Man, but in return gets her head caved in by a rock from the last survivor. Unfortunately, the Nightmare Man passes on to her, raping her and possessing her when she's thrown into the mental ward.

Powers/Abilities: Can possess anyone who wears his mask or kills his host.

Weakness: Certain meds keep him at bay.

Scariness Factor: 3-Questionable effects notwithstanding, the horrific motives of the Nightmare Man cannot be ignored. Aside from the creepy mask, this thing isn't even content to sexually abuse women. It has to turn them into fanged murderous loonies next! Let's be glad this thing doesn't really exist.

Trivia: -The Nightmare Man was played by Aaron Sherry, who was also the producer of the short-lived and rather mean-spirited comedy series, "Video Game Reunion".

-Ellen's actress, Blythe Metz, stayed away from the rest of her cast and became distant in order to get into character.
